The 45th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair 2026 officially opened today, Wednesday, at Expo Centre Sharjah, bringing together a wide range of cultural, academic, and community institutions, alongside leading publishing houses, authors, and intellectuals from around the world. The Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal is also participating in this prominent international cultural event.
 

The Association's participation reflects its commitment to promoting legal culture within society, raising awareness of rights and responsibilities, and reinforcing legal awareness as a fundamental pillar in building a knowledgeable society that understands its rights and obligations. It also highlights the important role played by lawyers and legal professionals in supporting the UAE's development journey and upholding the principles of the rule of law and justice.
 

Through its participation in this international cultural event, the Association seeks to strengthen its engagement with various segments of society, introduce visitors to its mission, objectives, and initiatives, and provide opportunities for interaction and the exchange of knowledge and expertise in legal and legislative fields. These efforts contribute to spreading legal knowledge and enhancing public legal awareness.

The 45th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair is taking place from November 4 to 15, 2026, under the theme "Between You and a Book", bringing together publishers and exhibitors from around the world in a major international cultural gathering that reflects the Emirate of Sharjah's leading position in promoting culture and advancing knowledge.
